Everyone crowds one room
Without places, the popular topic is standing room only while the others sit half empty.
Breakout sessions
Participants rank the breakout topics they care about. PickAndRank keeps every room within its capacity, round by round, so a big group spreads out, as close to everyone's choices as the seats allow.

The problem
Without places, the popular topic is standing room only while the others sit half empty.
Over two or three rounds, people should see different topics, and rooms should stay balanced.
Breakouts are often planned the week before. You need the lists fast.
How it works
Give each its capacity, and add the rounds.
Participants rank on their phones, in the room or before the day.
Everyone is placed together, a room in each round when there's one they can take, never the same twice.
Each person looks up their rooms with their code. Print or export a list for each room's host.
Example
Pick the Breakout rounds template when you create an event. It fills in the options, seats, rounds and ranking rules for you to change. Several rounds need Pro or Large; on Free, the template keeps one.
| Option | Places | Rule |
|---|---|---|
| Room A | 15 seats | – |
| Room B | 15 seats | – |
| Room C | 15 seats | – |
